To help users recognize these artificial identities, the streaming service plans to introduce an “AI persona” label on both artist profiles and their corresponding tracks. These AI-created personas will be excluded from Spotify’s personalized recommendations by default, a measure designed to ensure that genuine musicians do not lose visibility to AI-generated counterparts.
